    • Type 1 - 4 Emergency Managers and 1 National Guard. Deploy to FEMA HQ or FEMA Region for 14 days.
    • Type 2 - 2 Emergency Managers deploy to requesting state for 14 days.
  • Controlling A-Team

For Hurricane Floyd, Florida and North Carolina, received assistance from from Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Assistance for the Montana Fires was initially in the command and control arena. EMAC A-Teams requested personnel to work in operations, planning, logistics, donations management , public assistance, and Public Information.

Some equipment items that have been requested for transportation, fire suppression, communication and command and control.

Montana, for example, initially requested personnel support, but later requested National Guard bucket-equipped helicopters as aviation assets for fire fighting were fully committed in the Northwest.
